Editorial Policy

Our commitment to accuracy and reliability.

Content Review Process

At FormFit, our core utility relies on providing accurate file size targets for applicants who are often facing strict deadlines. Our editorial and data review process is designed to minimize errors and prevent application rejections.

1. Primary Source Verification

All exam-specific size limits, format requirements, and dimension guidelines are sourced exclusively from primary documents. We do not rely on third-party blogs or aggregate job portals. Our references are strictly the official PDF notifications or information bulletins released by the conducting authorities (e.g., UPSC, NTA, SSC).

2. Update Frequency

Major exams (like NEET, JEE, and UPSC CSE) are reviewed annually when their respective information bulletins are published. If a conducting body updates their portal infrastructure and alters the file upload requirements mid-cycle, we update our database as soon as the change is verified.

3. Handling Ambiguity

When an official notification provides a range (e.g., "10 KB to 200 KB") rather than a single strict limit, our policy is to recommend a target size comfortably within that range (e.g., 100 KB) rather than pushing the absolute maximum. This provides a safety margin for differences in how various operating systems and web browsers calculate file sizes.

Corrections Policy

Despite our best efforts, recruitment bodies frequently change their requirements, and errors can occur. If you spot an inaccuracy regarding a specific exam's photo or signature size limits, please contact us immediately at support@formfit.app with a link to the relevant official notification. We prioritize reviewing and deploying database corrections.
