1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using FormFit ("the Tool"), available at formfit.in, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the Tool.

2. Description of Service

FormFit is a free, browser-based image compression tool designed to help users resize and compress photographs and signatures to meet the upload requirements of Indian competitive examination portals. The Tool processes images entirely within your web browser — no data is uploaded to any server.

The Tool is provided free of charge, with no registration required, and may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes without restriction.

3. Exam Specifications — No Guarantee of Accuracy

FormFit provides pre-configured presets based on photo and signature specifications published by exam bodies such as SSC, UPSC, NTA (NEET, JEE), IBPS, RRB, GATE, CTET, and various state public service commissions. These specifications are sourced from official notification PDFs and exam portal guidelines.

However, exam specifications are subject to change at any time — between exam cycles, between stages of the same exam, or even mid-cycle through corrigenda or addenda. While we make every effort to keep presets up to date (see our Editorial Policy), we cannot guarantee that any preset reflects the most current requirements at the time you use it.

You are solely responsible for verifying photo and signature requirements against the latest official notification before submitting your exam application.

4. No Warranty

FormFit is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy, completeness, or currentness of exam preset data
• Fitness for a particular purpose or compatibility with any specific exam portal
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Tool
• That compressed output will be accepted by any specific exam portal

The compression algorithm produces results based on mathematical optimisation. Image quality, perceptual fidelity, and portal acceptance may vary depending on the source image, browser, and device.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FormFit, its creators, contributors, and hosting providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Use of or inability to use the Tool
• Rejection of an application or uploaded image by any exam portal
• Reliance on exam specifications displayed in the Tool
• Any errors or omissions in the Tool's output or content

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which liability is asserted and even if FormFit has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. User Responsibilities

As a user of FormFit, you agree to:

• Use the Tool only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws
• Verify all exam specifications against official sources before submitting applications
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the Tool for commercial purposes without written permission
• Not misrepresent FormFit's output as officially endorsed by any exam body

7. Intellectual Property

All content on FormFit — including text, design, code, exam data compilations, and the compression algorithm — is the intellectual property of FormFit's creators unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from FormFit's content without prior written consent.

Images you compress using FormFit remain entirely yours. We claim no rights over any user-provided images, as they never leave your device.

8. Third-Party Links

FormFit may contain links to official exam body websites and other third-party resources. These links are provided for convenience and reference. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content or practices of any third-party website.

9. Modifications to the Tool & Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of FormFit at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Tool after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of FormFit shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
